This really caught my eye. It’s just gorgeous and with the light mist in the background - excellent.

Today’s featured art is Ten Crayons by Sandra Idleman

This is one of my favorite pieces. It has the look of art done on canvas but is actually completely done on the computer - from start to finish. Its colors are vibrant.

Today’s featured art is Time is Slipping by Elizabeth Lisy Figueroa

I really like this one. Time is slipping away. Her use of color is good. Would be a nice addition in a family room or office.

Cowboy at Sunset

Today’s featured art is Cowboy at Sunset by Michelle Darensbourg

I really like this piece by Michelle Darensbourg. The lone cowboy heading home after a long day of hard work on the plains. This is available through Imagekind where you can choose your own frames and mats. You can add them and see what they’d look like framed differently.

Today’s featured art is Brisbane City by Steve Grunberger

I was born in Brisbane, but left when I was 3 weeks old to come to the U.S. I hadn’t really realized it but I’d never seen a picture of it. And, what a picture this is. Steve has many photos taken in Australia. I’ve seen many of the places that he’s photographed, and truly, they are some of the best shots I’ve ever seen. Worth checking out.

Today’s featured art is Crossroads by Laurent Dambies

I had to take my time looking at this city shot because I wasn’t sure if it’s a photograph or a painting or drawing. It’s so unique with the lights located where you think they should be - and they are. Make sense? This fascinates me. Laurent Dambies has caught my attention.

George’s photos are all incredible. The colors in his art project the ambiance of that location. Truly worth seeing.

Penguin by Emila Yusof

Today’s featured art is penguin by Emila Yusof

There is a childlike quality in the works of Emila Yusof. Not only are her pieces of art perfect for a child’s room but also for those who still let the child within them out to play.

My new friend - Duck

This week’s featured art is Duck by Sandra Idleman

I was going to include another artist’s work but decided to go with my own. I’m crazy about this duck. He/she seemed to want to be my subject that day I spent out at a local park. He/she seems to quack, “pick me, quack, pick me”. So, I did. Cute little thing walked right up to me. Lovely critter. If you click on the photo and go to imagekind.com/bysandra, you can enlarge it to see more detail. I should have gotten her name, but I failed to even ask.
